NBC Prayer Ministry

🌟 Ministry Spotlight 🌟

🙏 Prayer Ministry — The Heartbeat Behind Everything We Do

This week, we are turning our spotlight toward one of the most powerful, purposeful, and irreplaceable ministries in this house — the Prayer Ministry! While many ministries are seen and celebrated in the spotlight, this ministry largely operates in the hidden place — and it is precisely in that hidden place where the greatest kingdom work is done.

These are the intercessors. These are the watchmen on the wall. These are the men and women who carry our church, pastor, and the people before the throne of God — faithfully, consistently, and without hesitation.

Make no mistake — everything that happens in our house flows from what they do in prayer. The breakthroughs you experience in worship, the clarity you receive from the Word, the peace that meets you when you walk through these doors — the Prayer Ministry helped usher that in. They are not behind the scenes. They are behind everything.

🏅 Kim Robinson — A Woman Who Carries the Church on Her Knees
We want to take a very special and well-deserved moment to honor the extraordinary woman who has been spearheading this ministry with nothing short of excellence, dedication, and a spirit of true intercession

Kim is not just a prayer leader — she is a prayer warrior. She is the kind of person who understands that intercession is not a convenience — it is a calling. And she has answered that call with her whole heart, time and time again, without complaint, without compromise, and without wavering.

What makes Kim so remarkable is her consistency. In a world where commitment is rare, Kim shows up — early, prepared, and postured before God — because she understands what is at stake. She knows that the church does not just need good music, great preaching, and warm greeters — it needs prayer. It needs someone willing to stand in the gap, to cover the leadership, to intercede for the members, and to wage war in the spirit so that God's people can walk in peace.

Kim, you may not always be seen — but heaven hears you. And this church feels the fruit of your prayers every single week. Your labor is not in vain, your sacrifice is not unnoticed, and your faithfulness is not forgotten. You are a pillar in this house, and we celebrate you today with everything we have! 🙌✨

📿 What the Prayer Ministry Does — Week In and Week Out
The Prayer Ministry is not a one-day-a-week commitment — it is a lifestyle of intercession that covers this church around the clock. Here is just a glimpse of what this dedicated team pours into:

  • 📞 Wednesday Morning Prayer Call — Every Wednesday at 6:30 AM, this team is already awake, already gathered, and already interceding. While many are still asleep, the Prayer Ministry is already on assignment — covering this house, this pastor, this congregation, and this city in prayer.

  • 🎶 Opening Worship in Prayer — Before the first note is sung and before the first word is preached, the Prayer Ministry is laying a foundation of prayer that prepares the atmosphere for God to move. What you experience in worship didn't happen by accident — it was prayed in.

  • 🏠 Interceding During Service — While you are sitting in your seat receiving the Word, members of the Prayer Ministry are in the Pastor's office, on their knees, covering the service, the preacher, and every soul in this building in real-time intercession. They are praying while you are praising.

  • 📅 Throughout the Week — Their work doesn't stop when Sunday ends. The Prayer Ministry keeps this church covered throughout the entire week — because the enemy doesn't take days off, and neither do they.

🔥 To the Entire Prayer Ministry Team
To every intercessor who has whispered a prayer in the early morning hours, every team member who has pressed through fatigue to show up on that Wednesday call, every warrior who has stood in the Pastor's office crying out to God while the service was in full swing — we see you. God sees you. And this church is better because of you.

You carry burdens that most people will never know about. You pray for people who will never know your name. You fight battles in the spirit so that others can walk in victory in the natural. That is selfless. That is sacred. That is the very heartbeat of New Testament ministry.

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men." — 1 Timothy 2:1

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." — James 5:16

🙏 A Heart Full of Gratitude
To Kim Robinson and the entire Prayer Ministry Team — New Birth Church wants you to know that your labor is not in vain. Every early morning, every midnight intercession, every tear shed in that prayer room, every word spoken in faith on behalf of our congregation — it is all producing something powerful, something lasting, and something eternal for the Kingdom of God.

You are not just praying prayers — you are shifting atmospheres. You are breaking chains. You are building a covering over this house that the enemy cannot penetrate. And that is a calling worth celebrating!

Keep praying, keep interceding, keep covering — because what happens in this church begins with you, and you are doing it with excellence, passion, and the fire of the Holy Ghost!

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." — Mark 11:24

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

6 What should we say then? Should we continue in sin so that grace may multiply? 2 Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness[a] of life. 5 For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be[b] in the likeness of his resurrection.

  — Romans 6:1-5 (CSB)
